I am building a 3D experience for VR headsets that allows one to listen to music in a much more immersive way. My app generates sound-reactive AI art and ties it all together in a musical journey. Sit back, listen, watch, enjoy.
Music listening has become a passive experience. We listen to it while running, cooking, etc. and songs are atomic units of content interspersed with each other in playlists. I want to make music consumption more intentional and deeply personal.
I have created a prototype that works on my Oculus headset. It uses a custom pipeline for training and generating AI-created visuals. Here is a screen recording: https://youtu.be/Ob394z3XbBw Here is another example: https://youtu.be/q1ODfoACSIE
I have a background in AI research (I spent years at Google and Netflix exploring the applications of AI generated media), I love generative art, and I enjoy music production. I have a blend of technical skills that allows me to realize my vision.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
