Financial identity for informal businesses
AIAI AgentsFinanceInfrastructure ai-technologyculture-identityopen-infrastructure
We are building a smart money helper for small businesses. It helps shop owners track their sales, stock, and cash in one place, understand how their business is doing, and helps them qualify for loans even if they don’t have formal lender records.
Nest helps small and informal businesses become financially visible, organized, and able to access fair credit. By helping businesses grow and manage money better, we aim to create stronger local economies, more jobs, and better opportunities.
We have built an MVP, onboarded early pilot users with over 70% retention, and validated strong demand through direct customer engagement. We also pitched at Africa Arena, gaining early investor interest and traction.
I have experience building and running businesses myself, which gave me firsthand insight into the financial and operational challenges informal businesses face. Combined with my background in entrepreneurship, product development, and emerging tech.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
