About
Naturally built solar-powered, water-harvesting adobe homestead-turning natural materials into an off-grid sanctuary through free, immersive earth-plaster and brick-laying community classes.
Impact
This project offers a model for decentralizing construction knowledge, lowered housing emissions, and creates a replicable model for climate-resilient, community-driven, affordable living in the midst of a housing crisis.
Progress
We have flattened an area on a half-acre lot in Taos, NM and have constructed a stone and cement foundation for this small home.
Team
As a ten-year resident of Taos, New Mexico, an area with a vast legacy of natural building projects, I have spent the last several years helping my fellow community members with their personal naturally-built, off-grid home builds.
