Tiny self sustaining forests designed for forgotten pieces of city land
Biodiversity agriculture-landclimate-ecology
I am designing tiny forests that can live inside one square meter of forgotten city space. Each one combines local plants, insects, soil, shade, and water.
Cities contain thousands of tiny dead spaces. Turning even some of them into living ecosystems could cool streets, support insects, improve soil, and reconnect people with nature.
The first stage is a one meter prototype using native plants and a simple system for measuring temperature, moisture, insect visits, and plant survival.
I approach problems as systems. I can combine physical design, technology, measurement, and community participation into something small enough to test and improve quickly.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
