About
We are building a tree-planting platform connecting impact donors to real-world tree-planting festivals in Africa. We are organizing tree planting projects, empowering 100 nature stewards to plant 10,000 native tree seedlings across Nigeria.
Impact
Project OSISI will empower nature stewards to organize tree festivals, document indigenous methods, and track impact data. Promote climate actions among students in climate-impacted communities. Scale agroforestry and regenerate local ecosystems.
Progress
Published articles on climate & web3: https://blog.refidao.com/author/simon/ Co-hosted the Mopo Akinlade tree project: https://x.com/ReFiLagos01/status/1773343168278183995 Coordinated Badagry tree festival: https://tinyurl.com/OSISI-Impact-Report
Team
I'm a nature steward, passionate about regenerative technology, and believe in the power of teamwork. I've spent the last 4 years leading ReFi Lagos (a ReFi DAO local node), coordinating tree-planting events using Web3 tools like Silvi & Gainforest
Funding
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
