About

Parallel Lives is a website where you step into a day in the life of someone your age somewhere else in the world. Follow their morning, commute, meals, work, family and night, and experience another life for five minutes.

Impact

Parallel Lives builds empathy across borders by turning distant places into human stories. Instead of seeing people as statistics, users experience routines, hopes and struggles, revealing both our different circumstances and shared humanity.

Progress

I have defined the core concept, user journey and visual direction, and mapped the first MVP: onboarding, choosing a parallel life, scrolling through a full day, and a reflective ending. I am now developing the prototype and first stories.

Team

I’m suited to this project because it needs curiosity, empathy, storytelling and product thinking. I can turn a big idea about global understanding into a simple, visual experience that people can grasp quickly, test, and improve.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
