About

Replace the market with computer-assisted planning that minimizes work and guarantees everyone's needs are met, freeing up time for art, care, and community.

Impact

Playnet makes sure everyone's basic needs are met, and then it plans the work so we all do less of it! Max free-time + needs satisfied while respecting all constraints including ecological & nutritional!

Progress

The math was solved decades ago by economists like Kantorovich and Koopmans. Today, companies like Uber and Amazon use this same math to plan every day. We are taking these proven systems, putting them in one open, non-profit system, for the commons.

Team

We are a collective of systems designers, economists, artists, scientists, and coders who have the expertise to build the software, but more importantly, we have the commitment to build a tool for the common good.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
