About

Imagine if your crypto wallet could also send messages. No email, no phone number — just your wallet name. Proxibi lets people on the Bitcoin network talk to each other directly, in group chats or private messages, without any company in the middle.

Impact

Proxibi gives people in Africa and around the world a communication tool they truly own. No platform can ban them, no company can sell their data. Communities can organize, build, and grow on Bitcoin without depending on systems that were never built

Progress

We have a working prototype covering all core features — wallet login, BNS identity, direct messages, group chats, GM Board, and AI assistance.

Team

We are not outsiders pitching an idea about Africa — we are building from inside it. Our team has spent years growing the Stacks ecosystem on the ground in Nigeria, running workshops, training students, and earning trust community by community.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
