About
We are creating a living museum in Pueblo Jardin (San Cristóbal El Alto, Guatemala) where stories, trees, water, and memories come together. The whole community builds it. It helps people remember who they are, protect nature, and grow together.
Impact
By helping one community protect its forest, memory, and imprime their economy we create a model others can follow. Pueblo Jardin shows that climate justice starts locally and can inspire communities around the world.
Progress
We have secured local partnerships, begun community assemblies, and secured funding to start filming a documentary with elders, youth and leaders. The community is actively co-designing the living territory museum and momentum is growing.
Team
We are a team of young scientists trained in biology, anthropology, heritage management, and community tourism. We work through participatory research and long term relationships in Pueblo Jardin, combining science, art, and local leadership.
