About

ReWeave turns landfill-bound fabric scraps into unique jackets, bags, and dresses. Using smart software, we puzzle leftover offcuts into new patterns, which local sewists then hand-craft into one-of-a-kind garments.

Impact

We tackle textile pollution by intercepting scraps from garment factories before they are burned or dumped. By partnering with local artisans and paying fair wages for hand-finishing, we turn industrial waste into job opportunities and wearable art.

Progress

We developed our scrap-matching software prototype, collected 200 lbs of offcuts from local suppliers, and produced 5 sample pieces that sold out within three hours at a local pop-up market.

Team

With background experience bridging professional sewing and software automation, I possess the precise, dual skill set needed to scale waste-to-wearable production into a repeatable system.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
