Turning textile waste into made-to-measure fashion, stitch by stitch.
DesignDesign ThinkingDesignersFashion
A tailoring studio that upcycles unwanted clothes and fabric scraps into custom, made-to-measure outfits, giving discarded textiles a second life through creative reconstruction.
We combat fashion pollution by diverting textile waste from landfills to create personalized garments. This process reduces demand for new materials, cuts waste, and generates local tailoring jobs to make sustainable fashion accessible and personal.
I've sourced initial fabrics from local businesses, sketched an 8-piece capsule collection, sewn 2 durable prototypes, and initiated pilot distribution talks with two local boutiques.
Trained in garment construction with two years of hands-on alteration experience, I bring the technical skill and vision needed to craft high-quality apparel directly from overlooked materials.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
