Providing Detroit musicians with free studio time and community music programming.
arts-mediacommunity-economymusic-performance
I am providing early-career musicians with free studio time to record original material. Chosen artists will also perform at several showcases and a community festival.
Addresses resource access challenges facing the economically disadvantaged Detroit music community. Additionally, this program seeks to revitalize underserved neighborhoods by creating a free concert series which brings together a diverse crowd.
Founded in 2023, Resonate raised $15,000 from Artizen, CFSEM, & Arts Midwest. The enthusiasm for the program has been palpable, showcases were attended by hundreds of community members and selected artists are thrilled. We are excited for 2024!
As an engineer with a background in violin I have a unique musician's perspective on music production. This project was built to address the economic needs of musicians while providing them high quality results.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
