About

I'm running a seasonal program that gives Detroit musicians performance opportunities and studio time. This year's program will have 4 musicians perform three times in the city. They will all get four songs professionally recorded and multicam video.

Impact

The Resonate residency provides musicians with cash and access to studio time. The season culminates with a festival in North Corktown, a neighborhood that is being revitalized but has yet to have an arts identity.

Progress

We have raised 15,000 dollars so far, which will provide 4 musicians with high quality studio time and fund a neighborhood music festival. We have partnered with local non profit Spread Art and have a team of incredible audio engineers and artists.

Team

I've toured the nation as a musician for the last 15 years on top of building a recording studio. I'm uniquely able to identify as a musician and an engineer, making me a very sympathetic person to an artist's needs.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
