Turning textile waste into modular, swap-ready fashion that grows with you instead of getting thrown away.
FashionFutureTrend
A clothing line made entirely from fabric scraps and old clothes that nobody wants anymore. But here's the twist: every piece is made of small pieces that snap together, like Lego blocks for clothes.
The fashion industry throws away millions of tons of clothing every year, and most of it sits in landfills for decades. By making clothes modular and swappable, we keep fabric in use far longer and cut down on new material production.
I've built three working prototypes using the snap-piece system, tested with 15 volunteers over two months.
I have a background in garment construction and have spent the last year hand-sewing upcycled pieces for friends and family.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
