About
Corals are sick from hot water, like a fever. This makes fish homeless. We're studying their "fever" to help them get better and build new homes. We want to find the best medicine for each sick coral.
Impact
The project provides insight into required information to perform reef restoration in a sustainable ans scalable fashion, providing income for populations near coral reefs as well as species conservation (benefits to combat climate change).
Progress
I've researched and analyzed molecular data, interpreting results on coral bleaching. My milestones include identifying conserved responses and classifying transcriptional profiles, building momentum toward practical, informed management strategies.
Team
I'm deeply committed to sustainable development, evidenced by my drive to translate molecular data into practical coral reef solutions. My work directly supports this, and I'm actively building vital research networks in Mexico.
