About

Working on a MANGA about Tanukis - Japanese creatures from the Yokai folklore realm who have shapeshifting abilities (stored in their balls) & are on a mission to build their own nation Network State with readers united by a shared belief.

Impact

My project aims to build a network of people and businesses that function as nations with their own laws, economies, and businesses in a way that allows artists and artisans to explore new opportunities that are not bound by geography.

Progress

We have released Season 1 of the manga series, a set of mini-games, created a stable economic model using blockchain tokens, launched lore based NFT collections, manufactured our own beer, and partnered with some local Japanese temples for stays.

Team

I have 6+ years of experience working in the anime industry in Japan with shows such as Jojo, Yugioh, Edens Zero, Danmachi, Yowamushi Pedal, all streaming on Netflix. I'm also working as an art advisor for 0n1 Force, BAYC Ape DAO and Avalanche.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
