About

Imagine what would happen if the surreal immersions of ‘Borderless’ by TeamLab merged with the mastery of Studio Ghibli animated stories! I am working on an XR Installation to achieve precisely that with an original story and a methodology.

Impact

The project aims to build intercultural immersions where the core experience is designed to foster empathy and relativity. Also, this XR bazaar revitalizes the local community by showcasing and selling handcrafted traditional wares.

Progress

A prototype STOREFRONT is in production at a Japanese tourist town. Collaborating with local artists for the real wares to be sold in the fantasy storefront.

Team

Racial backlash during 9/11 ruined my storytelling career. This project originates from years of ethnographic studies, lived-in multicultural experiences, professional insights into cross-cultural narratives, and doctoral research in XR storytelling.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
