About
A community around the theoretical exploration of protocolization in society.
Impact
Protocols are becoming ubiquitous. They promise coordination and interoperability beyond centralized control. But they can also remove the personal, skilled judgment of an expert practitioner from the picture. A protocol-centric philosophy is needed.
Progress
- A Zotero Library of academic work on protocol studies - Built an international community of protocol researchers across 3 continents - 13 recorded sessions (reading groups, diagram jams, co-work) - A school of thought!
Team
- My PhD dissertation is on interdisciplinary coordination focusing on scientific protocols - Allumni of Protocol School, as part of the Summer of Protocols. - Ex-vice preseident of NGO (SEMF) and long-time community organizer

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
