About

I'm creating a progressive web app to onboard 100+ people in Togo, West Africa to Web3 via their cell phone number, submit proposals, vote on-chain to rank proposals via quadratic funding, and receive funding from the address togo.impactstream.eth.

Impact

We believe that local people understand their own needs better than anyone else. In Togo, for our first pilot / proof-of-concept project, local people will propose solutions to local problems- clean water, infrastructure for schools, hospitals, etc.

Progress

In addition to having raised $90k+ USD from private donors, we have an expert team of technologists, Togolese entrepreneurs, & experienced NGO workers in Africa. After building a web app, we traveled to Togo, launched, and onboarded ~100 Togolese.

Team

I have 9 years of int'l NGO experience, have worked in Togo many times, and have a large local trust network developed. I've been gaining tech & web3 knowledge over the past 3 years but most importantly have surrounded myself with a very capable team

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
