About

We're creating a multi-disciplinary collection of portals that use Virtual Reality and Physical Art installations to transport communities to different diasporic community experiences.

Impact

This project will impact the world by bridging them to Chinese, Moroccan, Iranian, Indian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian diasporic lived experiences. Alike and unlike minds will engage with these diverse communities and their lived experiences in Canada.

Progress

We've been selected by Toronto's annual Nuit Blanche festival to showcase this project and will be presenting it at Stackt Market (Toronto). We've also partnered with four of Toronto's largest art galleries for this project, along with the Drake.

Team

I've worked in physical and virtual community based programming for years with an emphasis on community. I launched my own Virtual Reality Gallery in 2020 which was awarded a small business grant + was presented at Unity's Developer Day on June 22nd.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
