I'm getting newsrooms to record tangible outcomes from their stories as hypercerts on optimism, so that we can fund reporters based on impact created instead of eyeballs
My project creates a new funding model for investigative reporters and citizen journalism, by paying them retroactively after their story has achieved a positive outcome like resignations, asset seizure, policy change & resolution of community issues
We secured $9k in prizes at funding the commons hackathon on buidlbox We created a figma for customers to buy journalism impact certs and also shipped code for newsrooms to batch mint hypercerts https://app.buidlbox.io/projects/hypercerts-media
I am a trained investigative reporter with 7 years experience with nonprofit media. I understand the potential of unlocking outcome funding structures for journalism and know the right players to make it happen

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
