About
This project aims to rehab an over 100 year old house with extensive damage, remediate toxic soil in the nearby empty lots, and manage a large garden, promoting urban improvements for an undeserved neighborhood in East Detroit
Impact
Detroit needs people who care, who are willing to work to make things better for their neighbors. The world is no different, but we have to start somewhere
Progress
Giant garbage pile removed, years of carefully planned and executed demolition /construction are now mostly complete, the building is sealed once again, and utilities are being prepped for installation prior to remodeling, finish work, and cleaning
Team
My mother taught me how to use power tools and mend objects and build community but not to fear hard work

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
