About
Whimsy is a quest platform designed to get people out of their house and connect with others in fun ways. Similar to how Pokemon Go got people outside, this does too in a more integrated way with local businesses and the community.
Impact
This directly addresses the loneliness epidemic and other consequential effects from it across health, relationships, and mental wellbeing by getting people out of the house, connecting with their community, and having fun by trying new things.
Progress
Early stage
Team
I previously was chief scientific officer at a company focused on the loneliness epidemic and solving it through connection driven by successfully predicting friendship and belonging. This will build off of that background.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
