In the Year of the Wooden Snake, I’m creating a 3m-tall modular Rainbow Ouroboros—laser-cut from 9mm plywood and assembled like a giant 3D puzzle. Inspired by Burning Man, it’s an interactive effigy made for arts, wellbeing, and aligned festivals.
Large-scale immersive art is costly, and often the last to get funding. This project prototypes a low-cost, tech-enabled art project that expands access, fosters collaboration, and brings transformative art to festivals and community events.
We tested a successful prototype at OHM gathering Australia, receiving enthusiastic feedback. We're now refining the design for easier assembly and dismantling, creating an instructional video to support wider use at festivals and community events.
With over 10 years experience in product design and large-scale projects, plus a decade focused in culture and collaborative art, I bring a unique skill set that merges sensitivity with experiential design to create impactful experiences.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
