About
I’m making a dance film at Rattlesnake Canyon in Santa Barbara where the landscape re-emerged after recent wildfires. Dancing in trees, in deep roots, on rocks and mountain trails, the partner to the dancer in Dark Forest is the forest itself.
Impact
Delivering an audience by camera into the wilderness promotes well-being and stewardship. What we find beautiful we treasure and protect. The dancer represents the wildness, abundance and freedom which is the bedrock of being human.
Progress
I have created the dance score and will begin rehearsals with a dancer this August. The costume is paid for and the team of cinematographer, editor, costumer and dancer is set. I will begin raising funds at the end of the summer.
Team
My dance films set in nature are in film festivals worldwide and I have devoted my life to plein air dance and filmmaking. It is what I am here to do and I am obsessed.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
