About
A location based experience adapting Miyamoto Musashi's philosophical text the "Book of Five Rings" - integrating the elements of air, wind, fire, water and emptiness with interactive rites of passage led by an AI empowered holographic Musashi.
Impact
Intimate conversations with Musashi, a 16th samurai warrior, renaissance artist, poet, architect and philosophical writer will allow audiences to learn from ancient wisdom and apply it to our increasingly chaotic world, aligning our hearts & mind.
Progress
We've secured conceptualization funding from a national arts council in Canada; we've assembled a multidisciplinary team from Canada, US and Japan comprised of a holographic specialist, immersive technologist, a martial artist and a sword master.
Team
Our Japanese Canadian director is a diehard existentialist and lifelong martial artist. I work in documentary (BBC, EPIX, VICE) & large scale immersive projects. We aim to create a soul bound transformational experience.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
