About
We are building upon the work and vision of the elder women who began this project in 1993, creating residency and workshop spaces to host artists and land stewardship practitioners in honoring and preserving this highland sanctuary in Dragoon, Az.
Impact
By offering the opportunity for artists and seekers to rekindle a connection between their creative spirit and this unique natural wilderness, we will be uplifting US conservation awareness while revitalizing natural arts programs in rural Arizona.
Progress
We have been revitalizing the community infrastructure and surrounding land to prepare for the new shop & residency buildings. Also remodeling the historic earthen structures used for volunteer quarters so they can participate in upcoming workshops.
Team
Since my grandmothers' passing my cousin and I have become the living stewards of her vision for this place; as sacred land, to be celebrated with reverence and preserved as a place to remember the union of the human spirit and the natural world.
