ATÉ CHÁ Fund: Lisbon Tea Week & Festival + Azores TeaCompression

A platform for tea culture: a gathering to move the renaissance forward, with a tea passport to carry it into the world.

The Até Chá Fund supports a culture of ceremony, presence, listening, and value flowing back to origin, and the creators of that culture: syntropic and permaculture farmers, slow-trade merchants, tea houses and spaces of ceremony and wellness, and the artists, musicians, and facilitators whose gifts pair well with tea. It begins with Lisbon's first tea festival this October and a TeaCompression in the Azores.

Eligibility

To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Projects must align with the Teaquencies: Curiosi-tea, Generosi-tea, Integri-tea, Equi-tea, and Uni-tea
- First priority goes to projects activating:
- in and around Lisbon between October 12-18 in support of the Tea Week and Festival
- in Sao Miguel, Azores between October 19-22, in support of the TeaCompression
- Open to:
- artists, facilitators, performers, magicians, and musicians whose gifts pair well with tea
- tea houses and other spaces of presence, ceremony, wellness, and listening
- syntropic and permaculture farmers producing goods that align well with tea houses
- love pirates moving goods slowly and with intention along tea trade routes
- The energy to match: ceremony, ritual, slowness, presence, value-to-origin, decolonization, authentic expression, movement, and wellness.
- Projects connecting tea producers with tea houses and drinkers along the trade routes, through commerce or storytelling, are warmly welcome.
