About
We are creating the closing ritual for Portugal’s first Tea Week and Festival. At Those Who Dance, tea practitioners, musicians, DJs and performers will guide people from ceremony and deep listening into movement, celebration and a shared dancefloor.
Impact
The project offers a healthier way to gather. Tea creates presence, care and conversation; dance turns that connection into collective release. Together they offer an alternative to commercial, phone-centred nightlife and passive consumption.
Progress
ATÉ CHÁ has formed a cultural association, presented tea experiences across Europe and built an international network. Those Who Dance has welcomed over 30,000 people to its Lisbon venue. Together, we are ready to produce the festival finale.
Team
ATÉ CHÁ brings 15 years of tea service rooted in Darjeeling-Assam traditions, Eastern medicine and hospitality. Those Who Dance brings an established Lisbon venue, cultural community and expertise in music, performance and phone-free gatherings.
