The Catalyst Fund for American Renewal is a grant initiative dedicated to uplifting entrepreneurs and small businesses rooted in small cities and rural communities across the United States. These founders are building with purpose, aiming to hire locally and give back to their communities as they grow. This fund provides grants to help founders take the next big step—whether it’s launching a new product to accelerate growth or hiring their first team to scale operations right in their community.

Eligibility

This Fund is for entrepreneurs rooted in small-town and rural America who are creating economic and cultural value from the ground up. We seek ventures with strong local traction and the potential to scale impact while staying grounded in their communities.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be based in a U.S. town or city with a population under 300,000.
- Intend to remain headquartered in that community for at least three years.
- Be led by a founder or team with deep ties to the local community.
How it works:
- "Submit project" to apply to the fund by the end of the Season
- Get public votes until the end of the Season
- The top project will get free funding from the current pool
