The FWB Fund for Builders supports a new wave of Creative Technologists—builders who merge technical expertise with cultural fluency. This fund backs projects that integrate emergent technologies, such as AI Agents, into web3 in ways that drive real-world impact and sustainable adoption.

Eligibility

The FWB Fund for Builders supports projects that embrace the Friends with Benefits ethos—bridging technical excellence with deep cultural understanding. We seek initiatives that go beyond speculation, demonstrating both technical innovation and cultural relevance to create lasting impact in web3.
To qualify for this match fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Align with the mission of integrating technology with culture.
- Address a real-world use case where web3 technology meets cultural or social needs.
- Incorporate AI Agents or other emergent technologies as a core component.
- Demonstrate both technical feasibility and cultural significance in design and execution.
- Align with principles of open-source collaboration, interoperability, and long-term sustainability.
- Present a clear, thoughtful strategy for real user adoption beyond speculative trends.
