Nightshift Fund for Working Artists

Direct support for musicians and filmmakers of striking artistic quality who work second jobs to survive.

This one is for the artists who pour their hearts into their craft while their time is eaten up by nightshifts and side jobs. Nightshift Fund offers unconditional income for those kindhearted artists who make music, art, and films of remarkable quality and refuse exploitative industry structures. The Nightshift Fund exists to be that difference, and to become a home on Artizen for working class artists everywhere, starting with musicians and filmmakers. It prioritizes artists who do not earn a living income from their art, and looks for community-centered, DIY, non-exploitative practice. Artistic quality is reviewed by a jury of fellow artists, because the people best placed to recognize the work are the ones making it.
