Village Futures Fund

Rebuilding the village for the 21st century, one community at a time.

Across the world, people are quietly rebuilding what modern life dissolved: forest schools, rites of passage, regenerative farms, intergenerational gatherings, community arts, and new models of collective care. Most of this work happens in isolation. Village Futures Fund connects and resources these efforts as one movement, supporting creators who are restoring the essential functions of village life and turning them into living models that other communities can learn from and adapt.

Eligibility

To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Projects must strengthen at least one essential dimension of village life: belonging, education, intergenerational connection, ecological stewardship, food and land, arts and culture, mentorship, rites of passage, community care, or regenerative livelihood.
- Open to community builders, educators, artists, naturalists, land stewards, youth mentors, storytellers, and social entrepreneurs creating practical ways to regenerate village life.
- Show clear benefit to a real community, with meaningful participation from the people the project serves.
- Demonstrate creative leadership along with ecological and social responsibility.
- Have the potential to become a model that other communities can learn from or adapt.
- We especially welcome projects that weave multiple generations together, restore relationship with the natural world, and strengthen local resilience.
