About
Two full-scale wooden structures built by hand — using a Japanese joinery tradition 1,000 years old that locks timber together without a single nail or metal connector. An encounter between European contemporary architecture and Japanese expertise.
Impact
When these structures stand at Schloss Hollenegg castle, they prove that ancient construction wisdom is not a relic — it is a blueprint. European architects will build differently because of this encounter.
Progress
Creative Europe funding applied for. Consortium signed: Schloss Hollenegg (Austria), KNOTTO (Belgium), Finnland-Institut (Germany). Japanese master carpenters identified. Aalto University students engaged.
Team
We built Artisanal Intelligence for the EU Pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025. We have the Japanese networks, the institutional partners, and the curatorial vision to make this encounter real.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
