Funding projects that bring people together—offline, in nature—to connect, create, and rediscover what it means to be fu
In a world drifting toward screens and simulation, the deepest human magic still happens face to face. Eyes meeting, stories unfolding, and creation emerging in the presence of others and the living earth. Inspired by real-world experiments in community, wilderness journeys, and unplugged gatherings, this Fund supports projects that prioritize embodied connection over digital mediation. From shared rituals to co-created experiences in nature, we back creators building a culture rooted in presence, belonging, and the regenerative power of human connection.
Eligibility
Technopenuriaphobia ( by Clinton Calahan )Fund for human connection supports projects that center real, physical human connection in natural or grounded environments. The focus is not on digital outputs, but on lived experiences that foster presence, vulnerability, and shared creation. Projects should create spaces where people come together meaningfully—beyond screens—and engage with one another and the natural world. To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements: - Offline-First: The core experience must occur in physical, face-to-face settings (not primarily digital or virtual). - Human Connection at the Core: The primary intention must be to foster genuine interpersonal connection, presence, and relational depth. - Nature-Connected: Projects should take place in, or be deeply connected to, natural or grounded environments. - Experiential Over Extractive: The value lies in the lived experience—not in content capture, filming, or digital outputs as the main goal. - Co-Creation & Participation: Participants should actively engage, contribute, or co-create rather than passively consume. - Clear Purpose & Integrity: Projects must demonstrate that their intention aligns with connection, presence, and care—not secondary goals like content production or tech-driven outcomes.
