About
Technological Metamodernism https://technologicalmetamodernism.substack.com – a book and seven-week course moving past the techno-optimist/sceptic deadlock toward alternatives already emerging: d/acc, Plurality, cosmo-localism.
Impact
It offers builders, funders and policymakers a third position: not acceleration or refusal, but technologies that defend, decentralise and coordinate across difference. Ideas spread once they're named and made coherent — that naming is the work.
Progress
Seven chapters drafted and published openly on Substack, with a book in progress. The first course ran in 2024; the second, with the Emerge Institute, starts 28 Oct featuring Audrey Tang, Michel Bauwens, Indra Adnan, Rich Bartlett and others.
Team
I've taught 1,000+ students on emerging tech (avg 4.7/5), lead Dandelion at a not-for-profit worker co-op, and founded The Psychedelic Society. Trained in physics, complexity science and ML; grounded in contemplative practice. Emerge fellow.

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
