About
I'm producing Digital Fashion Unlocked platform, featuring long-form content about tech startup operators. The re-brand of DFU will be a bridge between the typical fashion consumer and the broader world of digital fashion and immersive commerce.
Impact
To expand into an onchain community, we will become a headless brand after a period of incubation in-house at Violet Verse. With DFU at the center, open sourced brand guidelines will be used to encourage the contributors to co-create with us.
Progress
We have two repositories, 10 podcasts & 2 Dapps. The project will be led by Melissa Henderson & Julia Pepper. We also have tech support. We're bootstrapped with a pitch deck for Violet Verse's DFU rebrand. Seasons 1 and 2 garnered 1000+ downloads.
Team
I have over 10 years of media experience. My work has been featured in dozens of publications, and have been leading integrated branded campaigns for 5+ years. Here's my portfolio website: www.melwrites.com

| Season | Fund | Status | Applied |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 4 | Console Fund For Community Builders | submitted | 2024-03-19 |
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
