People do not change by being agreed with. M8 reads what someone actually feels, not what they report, and holds them to a wish they committed to.
Impact
M8 has an agent personality free of sycophancy to help you reach goals. As a proof of concept, M8 seeks to solve the alignment problem and build the foundation to train an LLM based on developmental science rather than reinforcement learning.
Progress
The affective extraction tool is on its fourth version, with accuracy verified across thousands of reads. On top of it: a companion personality layer free of sycophancy, and profiling that builds as you chat.
Team
I build life-like AI companions, and my PhD solves alignment through affective neuroscience and developmental science. Both come from traveling and psychedelic work, testing how malleable a mind is and which systems hold and encompass the most.
