About
Some areas of this social housing neighborhood are my personal #memoryconnectors, growing home as an immigrant. Other areas welcome others, such as VR Art Camp. It is a social VR art residency program that hosted about 40 artists since 2020.
Impact
VR Art Camp is not a VR gallery but a special form of social practice, when womxn and underserved artists guide visitors through their art piece that they have built during their residency. It's a bridge for artists whit no digital background.
Progress
I've been growing this project since 2018. It was exhibited at Adobe Aero's launching event and was projected on the top of the Salesforce Tower in SF. VR Art Camp has been an AltEx Grantee that paid for '23 programming and the artists' honorariums.
Team
As a mother in a multicultural family who moved to many different countries, I have the flexibility to grow our home - with this project, in cyberspace. As a PhD candidate I've been researching these potentials and aim to bring the Grandmother Spirit
