Interactive immersive sound/light new media installation: an audience triggered rave
Impact
Specially designed 3D printed flashlights blink to subdivisions of a shared tempo. When the beams hit sensors in the net suspended above, they trigger arranged samples in time to create an audience-controlled interactive rave.
Progress
I have made v1 and I'm currently printing PCB chips for v2 (which I hope to have ready by EthBoulder). the full v3 version will be on display in the fall at MSU Museum as part of their "Singularity" exhibition.
Team
I've made many multimedia sound/light installations and this is a continuation of v1 which I made. I'm a musician first but also a creative coder and I am uniquely qualified to shape the technology which I deploy in my projects.
