About
The WE project is a platform that amplifies marginalized voices to foster a radically intersectional and inclusive world.
Impact
The violence done to marginalized bodies and psyches along U.S. history is grounded in narratives of oppression. One story at a time, one picture at a time, WE harness the power of stories to reclaim narratives and bring people together.
Progress
After creating the project in 2017, I made it a nonprofit in 2021. With more than 100 portraits & stories, the WE project MO now includes a monthly panel called Liberating Stories, uniting diverse WE participants in storytelling and dialogue.

Because I am an artist-activist with a journalism background, and a social justice warrior with a soul for beauty and stories.
