Ipê Fund for Internet-Native Institutions

Supporting builders and creators making tools, prototypes, gatherings, and media that turn internet-native communities into working institutions.

Ipê City has spent three years prototyping new ways to live together: month-long pop-up villages, hacker houses, residencies, grants, and a documentary series about people building new societies around the world. We believe the systems that run our lives, from governance and education to healthcare and identity, deserve a rebuild on the technologies of this century, mainly AI and open blockchains. This fund backs builders, organizers, and creators with working prototypes, active projects, events, or clear creative output, whether that is coordination software, a community experiment, or art and gatherings that spread techno-optimistic culture. Funded projects join a network of Ipê Architects who ship in public, share what they learn, and help every experiment make the next one more durable.
