About
We're working on an app developed by and for folks living full- or part-time “on the road” (i.e. out of a van, car, bus, RV, motorcycle, or backpack). Current features include community-curated events and route planning/travel synchronization.
Impact
Crossroads provides a platform for resource sharing, strengthened social structures, community organizing around environmental and social impact, and overall improving the nomadic community’s capacity for adaptive self-organization.
Progress
Our team of volunteer nomads has been designing and coding for the past year+. Development is ~70% complete. We have secured some funding (through Gitcoin GG20 / OpenCivics) but need additional funds in order to launch.
Team
Team members have been living on the road for years and deeply understand the needs of the community. We have extensive experience in startups, UI/UX design, software development, project management, data analysis, and impact work.

Fund applications
| Season | Fund | Status | Applied |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 4 | Commons Fund for Public Goods Pioneers | curated | 2024-04-24 |
| Season 4 | Artizen Fund for Human Creativity | curated | 2024-04-24 |
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
