I want to collaborate with coders to create digital weaving designs that will eventually be woven.
Impact
I don’t think designers and coders collaborate enough. Weaving and coding both involve 1s and 0s and I think have an inherent synchronicity.
Progress
I am in grad school studying textile technology but haven’t yet connected with coders.
Team
I often end up managing projects and finding what I see as obvious gaps. I am often the connective tissue. I want to use these skills within my own art practice as well.
