About
Everyone's Camera is a free filmmaking gear program that can be self-sustained and community-governed. The program gives access to anyone within its region to borrow the gear as they need, and then hand it off to the next user once they're finished.
Impact
By helping to remove the socio-economic barriers to filmmaking, this project amplifies new and important voices, benefitting filmmakers by making available the tools for their expression, while also gifting viewers with exciting, vital new work.
Progress
This project has soft-launched and is currently functioning as a public, shared Google Document. Since its launch in the spring, six Toronto filmmakers have used our one available public camera to create their projects, with five on the wait list.
Team
I'm a self-taught filmmaker after having to drop out of university due to lack of funds 10 years ago. After my success and luck in the industry, I want to do what I can to help others overcome the financial hurdles of filmmaking.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
