MCON Fund for Community Events

Seeking MCON community members to host events that bridge local and global perspectives, fostering a vibrant, inclusive DAO ecosystem.

The MCON Fund seeks project proposals for community events that connect members of the global MCON community with local blockchain groups, artists and musicians. By encouraging relationships between local cultural leaders and changemakers and the global MCON community, the fund aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem of knowledge sharing and collaborative innovation, enhancing the impact and reach of of DAO creators, enthusiasts, and innovators. Note: Although events across the globe will be eligible for this fund, first consideration will be given to events in Detroit during the week of MCON, September 25-29th, 2024.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this match fund, proposals must adhere to the following:
- At least one of the event organizers must have attended an MCON event in the past or be registered for an upcoming MCON event.
- The event must blend local community engagement with the broader MCON global community.
- Events should be inclusive and aim to generate ideas and connections gatherings, workshops, panels, or discussions that reflect the DAO community principles.
