About
I'm making a videogame about a woman with Alzheimer's, struggling through her daily life. Through playable vignettes, the game explores symptoms as well as the strain dementia has on family relationships. Her children struggle in how to care for her.
Impact
In its early form, the game has already had a big impact on many people around the world. It has had millions of views on Youtube, and it has the ability to provide perspective and make people open up about their own family stories of dementia.
Progress
My team and I have previously received funding from the Danish Film Institute of Copenhagen to create a vertical slice. We are now close to having a fully playable version of the whole game after which we will turn to a polish phase.
Team
The topic of Alzheimer's is very dear to me as the game is inspired by my own grandmother who was sick for many years. With my background in arts and games, creating something meaningful for others to reflect on and interpret is my biggest passion.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
