Imagine if every toy car was built differently so you couldn't swap wheels or batteries. We're making a rulebook for lunar rovers so everyone builds them compatibly. This democratizes access, letting more people build and send robots to the Moon.

LORS lower the barrier to entry for developing nations, startups and universities. This fosters a sustainable, collaborative lunar economy where rovers can repair each other, share data, and work together, accelerating scientific progress.

We have a core expert team, a 60-day roadmap, which includes delivering a Standards Landscape Report, an Ecosystem Mapping Document, and a Phase 2 Roadmap. We identified key OSS components that will form the backbone of our standard.
