About
We are creating a decentralized archive for endangered films on IPFS to ensure their censorship resistance and availability in times of political instability. We aim to preserve politically significant movies, protecting them from censorship!
Impact
Preserving movies and helping filmmakers get visibility on situations of political and economical fragility e.g. hosting movies on the revolution in Sudan. Also, giving filmmakers an introduction to decentralized technologies.
Progress
We completed recently our first research and desig phase, readable on our website (meshdia.net). Now, we are moving to the design phase for the archive that we can complete in a couple of months.
Team
We are a unique assemblage of experts from filmmakers to distributors to technologists and game designers

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
