About
We are seeking funds to edit our feature film, produced with funds from LPB. TheGoldRoom.space, an ever-growing photo archive is now accepting submissions. We have a pilot of our SML to help caregivers in crisis, and have produced 7 memory cafés.
Impact
Our project challenges the prevailing narrative of loss & despair surrounding people living with dementia (PLWDs) by co-creating and participating in fun, original, edu activities around the world & by disseminating methods and tools for caregiving.
Progress
Our feature film received funds from LPB aiming @ a PBS broadcast A Dementia Springs Award funded the photo archive website. A $50K award allowed us to co-produce 7 memory cafés so far in West NY. Our SLM companion startup needs seed funds.
Team
I have been walking the dementia journey faced by millions of people around the world, except we are shifting the focus of our care to the abilities that remain rather than struggling against those that are lost --and that makes all the difference!
